What I definitely know from my Mock Exam • Include - • Strengths from the exam – I Knew how to do the questions and the time I needed for each. I was always able to finish before the time is up • Questions that I answered well – I answered the 1 point questions well and I was able to explain the questions. • ‘Positive’ percentages from sections – Section B3 Because I got the highest mark in that section and I am confident I will do well next time as well. • Personal confidence in topics – I am confident in Section B3 because I got the most point for there. Plus I studied health and safety training.
What I found difficult in my Mock Exam • Include - • Weaknesses from the exam- Knowing what a vocabulary mean. I need to go to Quizlet and study more on the words for example stroke volume, or what does a tendon do. • Questions that I answered poorly - The question I answered poorly is the 6 mark questions because I always run out of things to say. • ‘Negative’ percentages from sections – The worst section I did in is section B because I don’t know what I needed to write for those. • Topics of particular weakness – My weakness is remembering what the bone or muscles job is.
Action Plan for Improvement • What I must do to improve my grade: I need to remember the vocab for this class more; by going on to Quizlet and studying more in text book • Include - • Revising key topics and areas of weakness – Study The words, Know what each of the bone and muscle do in ones body. • Using the Revision Booklet to practice past paper exam questions – Do the questions the booklet have and check it over with the answer key in the back. • Understand the ‘style’ of questioning and reading the questions properly– High light the key word in each questions so I don’t misread it • Learning key terms and definitions, using Quizlet and Ilearn– vcx • Re-read sections of the text book, especially areas you found difficult – I would reread the whole book and highlight the parts I don’t understand.
S-Specific • My goal is to get a B or a A on the final exam. I didn’t very well in section B1 • I forgot the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. • I also need to know about the drugs.
M-Measure • I will know that I have achieve my goals when I get a good grade on the big booklet Mr. G and Mr. Sam has given us.
A-Achievable • I will study PE every night for 30 minutes. This way I won’t over work myself and its enough time for me to memorize all of the materials I need
R-Realistic • I would like to get 10 to 11 marks higher on my final. For example if my mock exam is 35 points I would like to get 45 or 46 points on my final.
T-Time bound • I will go to spend an hour or two every night studying. 30 minutes for each subject. This way I can get more things done.
E-Exciting • I can make a study group to make studying for me more fun and have competition to keep me going. This will keep me from losing interest.
R-Record • I can make a schedule on how I’m going to study. Also, if I improve on those practice test and record that down. Maybe I’ll record when I have a study group.
