Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) • Fall of Napoleon • Napoleon went into exile after the Russian defeat • Reappeared in March of 1815 to briefly take over France again • He was finally defeated at the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815 • He was imprisoned on Elba, a remote island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where he died in 1821
