  1. Status of Procurement of MB Quadrupole Prototypes - COILS for 2 MB Quad prototypes (one Type1 and one Type4) were finally delivered at CERN at mid July. They were tested in August: Tests are OK. - 1 Prototype magnet quadrant was delivered in Spring 2010 and is now at LAPP for mechanical and stabilization studies M.   2. Status of Procurement of MB Quadrupole Prototypes • The QUADRANTS for the 2 MB Quads grinded at the best precision (nominally 10 and 20 μm) are now packed in Nederland ready to delivery. We will meet tomorrow (25/8) with CERN Metrology Team to check the measurement reports and give the green light to delivery. As soon as received at CERN, the quadrants will be deeply measured by Metrology Lab. • Assembly activities will follows at NORMA Lab in Prevessin. Then the magnet will be available for Stabilization Studies and Magnetic Measurement, these two activities will be probably both done at the TE-MSC Magnetic Measurement Lab in I8 . M. Status of Procurement of MB Qudrupole Prototypes • Extra COILS to produce two other prototypes are under construction • Extra QUADRANTS will be order as soon as we will have information on the quality and precision achieved (in principle we have two Suppliers even if one has not yet the grinding facility operational) M.
