Tourism The situation: a big campsite provide the power supply to different kind of users: campers who rent a bungalow or park their own caravan or tent. The problem: the camping managementneed to collect the single site energy data and read them by means of a PC placed in the reception. The aim is to split the total energy costs, according to the users, avoiding to go on site to read the energy meters whenever a customer leaves. Tourism The solution: EM1-DIN with pulse output is used to monitor the single site energy consumption. All the energy readings in the camping sites is transmitted to a central PC via Dupline, which easily solves the application with its free topology, reliability and capability to transmit signals over distances up to 10 km.
