How do Coalitions become effective? • Coalitions have been proven to be effective when they apply specific processes. • Currently the widest accepted process for Community development is the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) 4 UNCLASSIFIED / FOUO

Additional Tools • Applying processes is not always enough. • National Guard Counterdrug in coordination with Community Systems Group developed a tool to gauge the specific problems of a coalition. 13 UNCLASSIFIED / FOUO

Community Kaizen & Coaching Model The coaching model takes the Kaizen survey and allows even a novice Civil Ops specialist to develop a detailed “get well” plan with actionable goals. 15 UNCLASSIFIED / FOUO
