2. Goals Join communities in addressing identified health and health-related problems Enable students to develop and apply skills in Teamwork Working with different cultures Understanding communities Problem-solving Program planning 

3. Activities • Participate in community life • Minimum of six weeks • Provide services consistent with training • Some clinical or discipline specific • Solve problems • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate • Work as interdisciplinary team members • Integrate learning & achieve new insights

4. Logistics • Work in clinic, hospital, health department • Work with local team • Regular work week • Occasional weekend event • Live in AHEC apartment • Earn stipend ($33-40 per day) • Reimbursement for local travel
