Ziele • Verständnis der Beziehung von Umweltstress,Anfälligkeit undumweltverursachter Krise. • Definition von Umweltstress, Anfälligkeit undumweltverursachte Krise. • Quantifizierung der drei Konzepte mit Hilfe von Indikatoren. • Verknüpfung verschiedener Sichtweisen (Hydrologie, Psychologie, Wirtschafts- geographie, Politikwissenschaft)

Methoden • Top-down“ Indikatoren (Statistiken) und „Bottom-up“ Indikatoren (Bevölkerungs- und Experteninterviews). • Drei Fallstudien (Südportugal, Volgabecken in Russland, Südindien). • Quantifizierung von Umweltstress (WaterGAP), Anfälligkeit und Krise (Fuzzy Set Theory) • Analyse der Ergebnisse aus verschiedenen Perspektiven und Entwicklung verbesserter Sicherheitsdiagramme.
