  4. DUI Historical Data(1st and 2nd Quarter Only) 13 DUIs were reported for the 1st – 2nd quarter for FY13…waiting on additional FY13 Data

  5. Specific Task Force Goals • Supplement established DUI policies and programs • BAADD • ADAPT • Wingman Concept • Reduce Number of DUIs by 38% from FY13 • Prevent Alcohol & Drug-Related Incidents

  6. Task Force Objectives • Team with California Highway Patrol & Local PDs • Provide “Realistic” Demonstrations (Drunk Goggles, Wet Lab, Field Sobriety) • Jailhouse Tours • Increase awareness at Wing PD courses • FTAC – (Add Local Jailhouse Tours to Curriculum) • COA #1: Coordinate w/SD for bus • COA #2: Carpool w/fellow students • COA #3: NCOs provide rides to students…“Mentorship In Action” • ALS - NCOES – SNCOES • Coordinate w/Facilitator to schedule CHP/PD briefings • Share stories at Squadron & Group Calls • Victims • Offenders

  7. Overall Objectives • Instill fear of breaking the law…know DUI is illegal • Prevent Airmen from getting behind the wheel • Motivate Amn not to drink and drive…period • Prevent deaths…save lives
