  1. Double Page Spread Versions Paige Hetherington

  2. Version 1 Here is my version 1 of my dps versions. I have added in an image of my model to fill the whole of the left hand page so the reader can clearly identify who the article is going to be about. I have also added in my columns of text and an introduction at the very top of the page introducing what the article is about and its question answer format. I have included a big letter ‘H’ behind the text on the right page to match the first letter of my model’s name which I think looks effective as is seen usual in majority of pop magazines. I also matched the colour of the ‘H’ to my model’s dress colour of pale pink which overall I feel looks effective.

  3. Version 2 Here is my version 2 of my own dps versions. I have changed the main image of my model to another one that I felt would look much more effective. I have also changed the colour of the ‘H’ to match the colour of my model’s hair which I also think looks better. I have added in hyphenated text within the columns of text which highlights key points within what has been said in the interview. I have made these bits of text bolder, bigger and a different colour. I have also added in an image of my model towards to right hand side of the right page which I think looks good.

  4. Version 3 Here is my version 3 of my own dps versions. I have kept everything the same but have included another image towards the top of the right page which I am unsure about whether looks right or not. I am therefore going to ask my audience what they think about the image and whether it works well or not.

  5. Version 4 Here is my version 4 of my own dps versions. Here I have kept also everything else the same but have added in the main title of the page. I have used a funky text which I feels also matches the style of my text on my front cover on the masthead. I am also unsure about the style of font so I am going to look at different fonts and experiment around with them.

  6. Version 5 Here is my version 5 of my dps versions. Here I have added in a page number on the left page towards the left hand side so the reader knows that the article is featured on page two which also corresponds with the page numbers on the contents page. I also have added in the name of my model and who the article is going to be about, the ‘celebrity’ that it features. This way the audience or reader can see and recognise who the article features if they didn’t already know the name of the female.

  7. Version 6 Here is my version 6 of my own dps versions. I have kept everything else the same but decided to remove the ‘O’ from the word you and use my model’s head in replacement for the letter. Overall I think that this some how looks okay but could look better. I am also going to ask my audience their ideas and opinions on this and receive feedback on whether it needs to be changed or not.

  8. Version 7 Here is my version 7 of my own dps versions. Here I have tried to add more colour to the page and make it come to life. I have highlighted the questions that the interviewer is asking so the reader can clearly see the distinction between what's being asked and the answers that are being received. I have also decided to make the text at the top of the page (introduction) a purple pink colour which I think looks effective and works well with the rest of the colours on the page. There also seems to be a theme of dark purple, pink and black.

  9. Version 8 Here is my version 8 of my own dps versions. Here I have decided to re-arrange the page. I have moved the capital H to the left hand side and also changed the main image of my model for another more suitable image. I also cropped out the background which was originally behind my model so the image just features her and not her where about in the original picture. I have also removed the pictures of my model which were featured on the right page which I think looks better as my audience also commented and agree to that the images that were there did not work well in correspondence with the rest of the page.

  10. Version 9 Here is my version 9 o f my dps versions. Here I have changed the font of the capital H which I feel looks better in a block capital. I have also added in extra images down the left of the right page which I feel looks better also and more effective. I have featured text above the image labelling what the image is about and from. I have also spaced the interview text out more so I could feature the bottom bit underneath the second image of this page. I have also added in text at the bottom of the interview saying ‘end of interview’ so the reader can clearly see that the interview has ended.
