Hands-On Science Third grade will complete four hands-on science units this year: Plants Objects in the Sky Human Body Changes in Matter
Hands-On Social Studies Third Grade will investigate 4 content areas of Social Studies: Early America Government Geography/Culture Economics and Finances

Homework • Our homework planner is posted every Monday on our grade level website, and sent home in their homework folder. • Math Practice • Read at least 20 minutes and complete CROP-QV • Current Events • Homework is due every Friday unless otherwise directed.
Grading Scale (Determined by the NCDPI) • 4 – Exemplary - Student consistently demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught during this reporting period. • 3 – Proficient - Student consistently demonstrates an understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught during this reporting period. • 2 – Approaching Proficiency - Student is approaching an understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught during this reporting period. • 1 – Non-Proficient - Student does not yet demonstrate an understanding of the standards, concepts, and skills taught during this reporting period.
