  2. 4 RCT’s • Cochrane review 2003 • Totaal 72 patiënten met korte follow-up • 3 cross-over trials zonder presentatie van data uit eerste arm. Risico op “carry-over” effect (Corbett, Marsden en Henderson) • 1 cross-over trial met gemiddelde ernst van tremor uit alle armen. Eigen conclusie: geen effect. Wel bijwerkingen: daling frequentie hartritme

  3. CONCLUSIE • 4 RCT’s: 72 patiënten, korte follow up (2d – 6 weken) met onvolledige presentatie van gegevens en tevens enige bijwerkingen • Bij gebrek aan bewijs is het onmogelijk te bepalen of β-blokkers veilig en effectief zijn bij tremoren obv M. Parkinson
