Prepare qualified people for cooperation of Sino-America business • All the cooperation need to be accomplished by people. • My experiences Both key members in the board and the general manager should be very qualified professionals who are international oriented, which is the main factor for the success of a joint venture. • These kind of people should know how to seek the common ground while reserve differences. Sun Dipeng 2002 April
They should admit that there are differences in history, culture and habits among different countries. • They should aim at the mutual benefits.. • Seeking for common ground while reserving differences—this is not only a vision but also a kind of ability • We are in short of qualified talents for large scale Sino-America business cooperation. • This is the market. Some expectations for MIM • Thanks for Pro. John Oh. The contacts and cooperation between MIM and I has been lasting for 9 years. • The program has been improving during the last 9 years. China also experienced the fastest growing during these period. • I feel very honored to be named as the Honorary MIM Professor. Sun Dipeng 2002 April
Some expectations for MIM I hope that: • MIM could distinguish itself from other programs by cultivating talents specially in area of Sino-America business cooperation. • The students could work hard at studying and using Mandarin. Try to know more about the reform of China, about how to get along with Chinese, about how to seek for common ground while reserve differences. • If my experiences could help I am willing to continue my contribution to MIM.
