What are the Expectations? To be… *Safe *Responsible *Respectful At the bus stops while waiting for the bus: Being SAFE is: 1. Standing in line and off of the street, at a safe designated area. Why? So you’re safely away from cars and the approaching bus, so you don’t get hurt. 2. Wait for driver’s directions. Why? So the driver makes sure the bus is secure and safe to enter. Being RESPONSIBLE is: 1. Arriving at the bus stop 5 minutes before arrival time. Why? So other students are not late for school. 2. Line up appropriately and remain in line. Why? So you will be ready to board the bus when it arrives. Being RESPECTFUL is: 1. Keeping hands and feet to your self, and respecting other people’s property. Why? So others don’t get upset and may cause a problem.
