Foundations Week • To Complete and Pass Foundations… • Attend all activities! • Excused absences • Hospitalization • Family Emergency • At the discretion of the chairs… • Doctor/Dentist – NOT EXCUSED • Getting Married? Plan AHEAD!!! • WRITE THIS DOWN: JULY 7 - 11
Dinner Symposia • All seminars are mandatory • Up to 2 excused absences • Prior notification necessary • Excused absence granted at the discretion of the chairs • ALL unexcused absences must be remediated with a written assignment • Review of a disease • Case report • Pearls for the future • 3 or more unexcused absences result in a Failing Grade.
Required Electives • Radiology Elective • ICU Rotation The college provides a list of electives recommended by each department – these are not required.
Scholarship Day • All members of the College must submit an abstract for and attend Scholarship Day. • Present a poster • Give an oral presentation There are no excused absences from Scholarship Day.
