Update General Info • Booster SS: Up and operating • SS Spares still in production (amps and PAs?) • All Solid State Modulator work completed (spares tested – RF12 and RF19 not installed) • Booster Absorber – commissioned – Salah is starting to test 3rd Kicker • Booster Aperture Scans and magnet moves – • Finished another move yesterday/alignment finished this morning • Scans later today – issue with larger beam adds complication • Booster RF cavity rework – RF1 work in progress • Tuners removed and being worked on • RF15 cooling off in Booster access area • Spare cavity has progressed – installing inner hardware to main cavity • Booster Ferrites – Dennis completed measurements on recent ferrites • Document with physical Measurements, Low Power Testing, High Power Testing - put in DB • Results – not good! New ferrites did not meet specs • Phone call to vendor yesterday – plan to try again – different bake temp – lower density • RFQ – Running well – waiting on trim magnet/building source B • HLRF – looking into how to write a new PO that gets the work started • Linac Modulator –? • Linac Notch – Talk today by D Johnson • Cogging – Waiting for Kiyomi time • Booster Shielding – Two rounds of scans – meeting today to go over data…. • MI Startup: Word is May – no change from last time – June 1st Startup comments (Fernanda, Todd, Mary) Studies forthcoming?
