2. Make PE #1 As nice as our school is and is expected to be, we have been lacking in equipment and storage in the PE department. To follow the curriculum and for your student to have a better time in class we desperately need the items on this list. The following slides are items we really need that we either have very little of or none at all. If you have some of these items laying around the garage or in storage by all means we will take used items. District policy states that we have to use their vendors to purchase items with our money, in our case BSN Sports; so I have put the prices of what it costs us to purchase through them and what it would cost someone else to purchase from a different PE supplier. You can either donate money to MMS Physical Education or purchase the item yourself and donate the item to the PE department. 4. Disc Golf School Pack BSN Sports: $199.99 Esportsonline.com $175.99 36 Discs for Disc Golf 12 each of drivers, mid-range, and putters. Currently we only use frisbees which aren’t regulation discs for disc golf. Used for 7th Grade PE

5. Nylon Covered Foam Pucks BSN Sports: $10.99 set Esportsonline.com: $10.39 In the floorball unit its really important that we have equipment that will not injure students, we have been using softball whiffle balls but these nylon covered ones will be safer. Used in 7th Grade PE

6. On Court Off Court QuickStart Mini and Maxi Net Systems BSN Sports 10’L: $144.99 Esportonline 10’L: $127.99 Esportonline 18’L: $109.99 Used for beginning tennis and badminton. These adjustable nets are portable and essential. We currently don’t have any nets so we use volleyball nets. Needed: 3 any size Used in 6th and 8th grade PE

7. Economy YouthRacquet BSN Sports: $60.00 set of 10 Currently in need of badminton racquets. We are using a combination of tennis and squash racquets to teach badminton. Need: 30 Used in 8th grade PE

8. Shuttlecocks 36 ct Multicolor BSN Sports: $19.99 Esportsonline: $17.59 Academy (White): $1.49 for 6 The PE department would love to get shuttlecocks. White or colorful just having them would make the badminton unit more fun. 8th Grade PE Needed: 36 total

Flag-A-Tag Adjustable Flag Belts BSN Sports: $2.79 each Esportsonline.com: $1.65 each Currently we have no flags for flag football and we have students tuck scarves into their pockets or belt loops. These would help students differentiate teams as well as use real flag football equipment. Used in 6th Grade PE. Needed: 60

11. Voit Soft-Low Bounce Tuff Balls BSN Sports 7” Prism Pack 6: $94.99 Esportsonline7” Prism Pack 6: $83.99 These Tuff balls are the best thing to happen to PE. They are super soft, low-bounce, and safe. We’re able to play a number of games with these like pin-knockdown and pinball soccer. Students don’t realize how expensive these balls are and have not taken care of them very well. Needed: 24 balls Used for ALL PE classes

12. Deluxe Hoops30” Diameter BSN Sports: $62.99 dz. Esportsonline.com: $55.99 In PE we use hula hoops a lot. From target practice to “castle” building, and bases these hoops are versatile. We would like to get rid of all the broken ones we have now and replace them with 24-36 new ones. All PE classes use them.

13. Storage When this school was built closets were not something that was a high priority. Thus as our curriculum expanded and more equipment was needed we had no where to put things and we used the shower areas to put things away. As the school has grown though we need more room in the shower areas just in case there is an emergency where we need to place students in a safe secure area. The school has decided to donate a shed where we can put things but now the issue is how do we move equipment in and out of sheds for our classes. The use of storage on wheels is SUPER important and in most cases SUPER expensive. If you know of anyone that can build storage on wheels it would be such a big help or just donating money or equipment works as well.

14. Resistance Tube Standing Rack BSN Sports: $107.99 Esportsonline.com: $95.19 We have many resistance bands in a mesh bag that need a proper place to be hung so that they stay untangled and can be used for a long time. All PE classes use these.

15. Standard Portable Ball Locker BSN Sports: $249.99 (black cart) Sam’s Club Online: $179.77 Esportsonline.com: $159.99 From Basketballs to Volleyballs to different kinds of equipment these portable carts allow us to store stuff, lock it up, and leave out without worry of getting stolen. We can wheel this stuff to the tennis courts and in between gyms.

16. Large Portable Equipment Cart BSN Sports: $949.99 Our dream extra closet that can be placed outside of the gym. This equipment cart is portable and lockable and would be an awesome addition for more storage.

17. Stability Ball Rack BSN Sports: $39.99 We have so many uninflatedstability balls because we have no were to put them but if we had these racks we could blow them up and use them more often. Needed: 4

18. Jump Rope/Hoop Rack BSN Sports: $159.99 BizChair.com: $127.99 We would love a place to store all of our new jump ropes that we purchased last year and the new hula hoops we hope to get this year. Needed: 1

19. P.E. Recess Cart BSN Sports: $314.99 A portable cart to place different kinds of balls, hula hoops, and jump ropes. This would make going from gym to gym perfect.
