BUDGET UPDATE and ECONOMIC OUTLOOK Federal Budget –Smith Lever Funds cuts projected at 5% cut ; KY earmarks eliminated State Budget (2012) – 1% Cut University of KY Budget – 2.2% Cut *With 2% Cuts in 4 Years = 12% Loss UKTuition Increase –6% Increase *Extension and the Experiment Stations are are considered “not generating tuition”
