Beam line • The insert in T10 turns out to be more complicated to modify than initially foreseen. Therefore we will remove it altogether. The TCX and first QNRB will only be reinstalledafter the T10 consolidation, as the recent endoscope inspection gives some confusingindications concerning the T10 collimator. This means that this vacuum sector can only be tested from then on. • The final alignment checks and of the front-end will be done at the end of the T10consolidation and TCX+QNRB reinstallation. Only then the roof shielding can be put back. • The MCBV have been reinstalled. After alignment checks the vacuum can beconnected and checked. The vacuum downstream the TAX can then be reconnected and tested up to the blue tank. The fast valve is in place. • The buffer volume (for the CEDAR gas) remains to be put in place. • The vacuum tank completion follows the detector installation. LAV-11 will be installed in the week of the 9th of June. The vacuum tank can then be closed up to there and remain closed for at least 6 weeks for tests.
Detector installation • The RICH tank and mirror support have been installed. Now the mirrors themselfs and the >2000 PMT’s. • The Straw detectors are planned to come in at a pace of 1 per month and mustbe put in place. • The double wall installation must start soon (June), also in GHN300.A 3D scan has been made in that gallery for that purpose.
