  1. Ljóst efni á botni lægðar í Noctis Labyrinthus Á þessari mynd HiRISE sést dæmi um ljóst efni sem finnst víða á botni margra dælda í Noctis. Litrófsgögn frá CRISM mælitækinu, sem einnig er um borð í MRO geimfarinu, benda til að þetta ljósa efni sé vatnað (þ.e. innihaldi vatn). Vatnaða efnið gæti hafa myndast þegar vatn seytlaði upp í dældina eða þegar ís í henni bráðnaði, hugsanlega vegna jarðhita. uahirise.org/is/ESP_027236_1680
